Is it recited: مالك يَومِ الدّينِ or مَلِك يَومِ الدّينِ ? The meaning of this verse is Owner of the

The All-Merciful (ٱلرَّحْمـٰنِ) is on the pattern of فَعْلان from الرحمة, and the Most Merciful (ٱلرَّحِيمِ) is on the pattern

What does Al-Rabb (الربُّ) mean? Al-Rabb (الربُّ) is The Owner (المالك), The Master (السيد), The Sustainer (المربّي), The Maintainer (القيّم)

 هُوَ الَّذي أَرسَلَ رَسولَهُ بِالهُدىٰ وَدينِ الحَقِّ لِيُظهِرَهُ عَلَى الدّينِ كُلِّهِ وَلَو كَرِهَ المُشرِكونَ It is He who sent His Messenger with guidance and the Deen of Truth to exalt it over every other deen, though the idolaters hate it. (Surah Saff, verse 9) His Messenger رَسولَهُ The word

  يُريدونَ لِيُطفِئوا نورَ اللَّهِ بِأَفواهِهِم وَاللَّهُ مُتِمُّ نورِهِ وَلَو كَرِهَ الكافِرونَ They desire to extinguish Allah’s Light with their mouths but Allah will perfect His Light, though the disbelievers hate it. (Surah Saff, verse 8) This verse is sarcasm against

    وَمَن أَظلَمُ مِمَّنِ افتَرىٰ عَلَى اللَّهِ الكَذِبَ وَهُوَ يُدعىٰ إِلَى الإِسلامِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ لا يَهدِي القَومَ الظّالِمينَ Who could do greater wrong than someone who invents a lie against Allah when he has been called to Islam? Allah does not guide wrongdoing people. (Surah Saff, verse 7) In other words,

  وَإِذ قالَ عيسَى ابنُ مَريَمَ يا بَني إِسرائيلَ إِنّي رَسولُ اللَّهِ إِلَيكُم مُصَدِّقًا لِما بَينَ يَدَيَّمِنَالتَّوراةِوَمُبَشِّرًابِرَسولٍ يَأتي مِن بَعدِي اسمُهُ أَحمَدُۖ فَلَمّا جاءَهُم بِالبَيِّناتِ قالوا هٰذاسِحرٌ مُبينٌ And when ‘Isa son of Maryam said, ‘Oh Tribe of Israel, I am the Messenger of Allah to you, confirming the Torah which came before me and giving you the good news of a Messenger after

  وَإِذ قالَ موسىٰ لِقَومِهِ يا قَومِ لِمَ تُؤذونَني وَقَد تَعلَمونَ أَنّي رَسولُ اللَّهِ إِلَيكُم ۖ فَلَمّا زاغوا أَزاغَ اللَّهُ
